Forum Title: Water Dilemma
Hello guys, thank you for being of such great help in the past. I am in a little bit of a dilemma and really need your help. I have recently been called to do some sheetrock work for a person that has mobility issues, due to a flood they had.Apparently, they had some pipes that were not used in a long time and one of them froze (the hot water Line) his wife applied a heater next to the pipe that was frozen, thought she had turned off the house, but obviously left the valve open and a flood occurred. While I was working on the sheetrock, she informed me that she was having an issue with the kitchen sink. Here is where I need your help. The kitchen sink and washing machine lines are running on the same line. The problem is that when the homeowner sets the sink to hot water, the hot water runs fine. However, when she runs the cold water, hot water comes out for a short while and then it slows down to a trickle and stops. I really want to help these peopleÖ Can anyone give me any suggestions? PS they are in Sullivan County and use a well Ö
